"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

2 lb. cubed beef steak flour salt and pepper shortening ketchup Worchestershire sauce water
Flour and salt and pepper the steaks. Brown them in a large cast iron skillet with some oil. Remove steaks from the skillet and add a little more oil. Add flour to the oil and meat drippings in the skillet. Add enough Hot water to make gravy. Stir well and add 1 to 2 Tbsp Worch. sauce and about a 1/4 cup ketchup to the gravy. Put the steak back in the gravy. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
