2 lbs. ground chuck
2 (16 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
2 small onions chopped fine
1 green pepper chopped fine
1 (8 oz.) can tomato puree
1 large can Tomato juice
1 tsp. each - oregano, parsley, thyme, celery seed
fresh mushrooms

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground chuck in skillet, add onions and green pepper and cook for five minutes or until soft. Put in large pot, add stewed tomatoes, tomato puree and spices. Add half of the tomato juice. Cook over med. to low heat for 30 min. to an hour, adding tomato juice as needed. Add sliced mushrooms 10 min. before serving.
