6 eggs
3 cup sugar
2 sticks margarine
1/2 cup crisco
1 cup sweet milk
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 cup plain flour

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, then measure and add baking powder, salt and sift again. Cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time, beating each one about a minute. Add small quantities of flour and milk alternately. Then flavor to taste (lemon flavoring). Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 in a tube pan.
