"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for White Chocolate Party Mix, by Karen Newsom, is from Family Blessings Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 16 oz pkg white chocolate almond bark 4 cups crispix cereal (or any crispy cereal) 2 cups cheerios 2 1/2 cups small pretzels (I use lightly salted) 1 cup dry roasted peanuts, salted or mixed nuts ( I use lightly salted dry roasted) 2 12 oz pkgs M & M's
Melt chocolate in microwave about 3 minutes. Pour over bowl of above ingredients. Mix thoroughly and spread on wax paper on cookie sheets to cool and set up. After set up, break up and store in enclosed container.
I got this recipe from Mary Ellen Cummings. She used to work for us.
