1/2 c butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
3 tsp.baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 can comstock cherry filling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter sugar add eggs and vanilla, then add flour baking powder and salt. Blend into cream mixture. Spread dough batter 9 by 13, reserving a little for top. Add cherries and spread evenly . Drop remaining batter in small spoons on top of cherries. Mix together 1/4 c sugar, 1/4 c flour, 1/2 cup nuts, 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Cut in 2 tabs. butter and fill in the cracks in between the batter on tops, all will bake together...bake at 350 for approximatly 1 hour, but check before take out when browned
