1 tsp salt 1 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c warm water 1 cup milk, scalded 1/2 c margarine 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 4 or 5 cups flour
Combine scalded milk, sugar, margarine and then cool. Beat eggs and vanilla; add to scalded milk. Dissolve yeast in water and add to milk mixture. Put flour in bowl and make a hole. Add liquid to form ball, if too wet add more flour. Don't knead. Cover and let rise 1 hour. Punch down and raise another 45 min. Make rolls. Put in glass pie plate, raise 45 min. Brush tops with egg. Bake at 375º for 30 mins.
