Cake:
2 2/3 cup flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup chopped pecans
2 sticks melted butter
2 cups water
2 tsp. vanilla
Topping:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 stick butter
1tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together first five ingredients. Add chopped pecans. Add 2 sticks melted butter, water and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into a 9 by 12 metal pan. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Boil the topping ingredients for 1 minute. Punch holes in the cake and pour over cake.
