1 large egg
1-1/4 cups buttermilk
1 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. vegetable oil (for waffles increase to 1/4 cup)
1/2 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
2/3 cup whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. wheat germ
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, buttermilk, honey, and oil. Beat well. Add oatmeal, flour, wheat germ, baking soda and salt. Stir until well blended. Cook on griddle preheated to 375 degrees.
