Pastry for two crust pie 2 cups green tomatoes, cut in 1/2" cubes Pinch of salt 1 tbsp. flour 1 cup sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. butter or margarine 1 tsp. powdered cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Line a 9” pie pan with half the pastry. Roll out remainder for top and cut four 1” slits in the center. Combine remaining ingredients and fill pie shell. Top with rolled out pastry and crimp edges to seal. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serves 6.
