3 pieces thick-sliced smoked bacon
2 cups onion, chopped
2/3 cup smoked meat, chopped
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup KC Masterpiece original BBQ sauce
1 can (16 oz.) pork and beans, drained
1 can (28 oz.) pork and beans, drained
White raisins and chopped apples (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Add onion and chopped meat. Cook until grease is absorbed, stirring often. Add brown sugar; stir often so it dissolves, but doesn’t burn. Add BBQ sauce, then all of the beans; stir well and heat through. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 250 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes or in outdoor smoker for 2 hours, stirring once or twice.
