1 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
green food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, adding sugar gradually. Add a few drops of food coloring, unbeaten egg, sifted dry ingredients (flour, salt and baking powder), and the
almond extract.
Fill a cookie press. form cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet using a tree plate. Decorate with colored sugar or tiny candies. Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 375.
