4 cups milk, scalded
1/2 cup warm water
2 tbsp. (2 pkg.) yeast
3/4 cup oil
2/3 cup sugar
5 tsp. salt
10 to 12 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cool milk. Combine warm water, yeast and 2 tbsp. sugar in mixing bowl. Let yeast dissolve. Add milk, oil, remainder of sugar, salt and 3 to 4 cups flour. Mix well. Add more flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on board and knead until smooth (adding flour as needed). Place in greased bowl; cover and let rise until almost double in bulk. Punch down. Let rise. Divide and place in greased baking pans. Let rise until almost double in bulk. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until brown. Remove from pans and rub with oil or butter.
