Directions:For rolls, roll thawed bread on floured board with pie roller. Try to roll into a square (does not have to be perfect). Put melted butter on top of rolled bread. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins and nuts evenly over bread. Take your hands and roll bread like sausage over and over with cinnamon mixture inside. Take sharp knife and cut into 2” slices. Have a 9” x 13” cake pan prepared with lightly covered melted margarine and brown sugar on bottom. Put cut slices on bottom about 1/4” apart. It will take 2 loaves of bread to fill pan. Let rolls rise in pan about 25 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. For frosting, mix powdered sugar and melted margarine adding enough milk to spread frosting easily. Add vanilla and mix until all lumps are gone. Spread over warm cinnamon rolls in pan. Serve warm or cold. |
