1 c. butter 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. soda 2 tsp. vanilla 3 c. flour Chocolate chips
Stir together flour, soda, and salt; set aside. Cream shortening, add sugars. Add eggs, beating well. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture. Mix in chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 9 to 11 minutes.
