1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter, chunk style
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, soda, baking powder and salt; set aside. Cream shortening, add sugar. Add peanut butter.Add eggs, beating well. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture. Roll into balls, press down with a fork to make a crisscross pattern. Bake at 350 for 9 to 11 minutes.
