1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. thick sour cream
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, soda, baking powder and salt; set aside. Cream shortening, add sugar. Add eggs, beating well. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in nuts. Drop by spoonfuls. Bake at 350 for 9 to 11 minutes.
