"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

When growing up my mom would put strips of paper with the tasks that needed to be done into a jar and we would pick from the jar and get busy. We have altered it just a bit by writing the tasks on popsicle sticks (so they can be re-used) and putting them in a jar to be pulled out by each person. We have also included sticks that have a 2 minute break, get a drink, hug your mom/dad, do a crazy dance, etc.... to make it fun. We also have a mom and dad jar with our own chores and have added in silly things like kiss/hug your spouse or make a drink for your spouse, take a break, etc. We also make sure that we keep the jobs simple so the kids don't get overwhelmed and it can be done quickly. Fun, quick and easy cleaning is the way to go!!!
