Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add the chopped nuts, grated orange rind and marmalade. Beat the egg well; add milk. Stir this mixture into the flour mixture. Mix until ingredients are moistened. Turn into a greased loaf pan and let stand 15-20 minutes. Bake in 350º oven for 1 hour. When cool wrap in waxed paper and store in covered container for 24 hours before cutting.
