Ingredients:
2 c. flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 c. raisins
2/3 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut butter into dry ingredients until the size of small peas, (as for pie crust). Add the milk and raisins; mix to form a dough. (I do this in a food processor.) Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 375F for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. You can use dried blueberries or dried cherries instead of raisins. If I'm using blueberries, I add 1/2 tsp lemon extract. If I'm using cherries, I add 1/2 tsp almond extract. Makes about 18 tea biscuits.
