2 cups of instant minute rice 2 cups chicken broth 1 lg. onion, diced 6 slices of bacon 1/2 cup frozen peas
Cook in frying pan, bacon until very crisp. Chop and then set aside.
In the fat from the bacon cook chopped onion until soft then add peas, chicken broth, and cook until it is boiling, then add the minute rice. Cover and remove from heat and let sit for at least 10 minutes then add the chopped bacon. You might want to season with salt and pepper according to taste. Serve
