1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup persimmon pulp
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Cream butter and sugars together until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Stir in persimmon pulp, mix well. Blend in dry ingredients, a little at a time, mixing well after each addition. Fold in pecans, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Bake until golden, 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. Remove to cooling rack.
