1 1/2 cup cornmeal
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup onion finely chopped
Oil, for frying

Directions:
Directions:
In a deep saucepan or fry daddy, eat oil to 375.

In mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, milk and egg. Stir until well blended.
Add Onion. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil a few at a time.
Fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown turning once.
Drain on paper towels.

Makes 20 hush puppies
