Directions:
Directions:
cut the fish up in pieces, wash it and roll it in corn meal,
Put the skillet on the stove eye and and melt the shortening and get it hot,
Place the fish in the hot skillet, turn the heat on med. and turn it often until its brown and then its ready to eat.

I remember my papaw cooking this when I was a little girl. Us kids wasn't allowed in the kitchen while he was frying that fish, That is a good memory of my papaw Bales. I miss you papaw.
