We all know that young children grow fast and accumulate a lot of clothes, toys, and general junk that clutter up all parts of the house. Every month or so, go through the clothes as they come out of the washer and set aside, in a box or bag, clothes that don't fit anymore. When toys get put away, look for items that are no longer played with and pass them on. Teach your kids about ways that they can help kids in need and they will be more willing to part with all the excess. This cuts down on clutter and instills a sense of duty and desire to help others in our children. Ian seems to think that if he gives away EVERYTHING, he gets all new stuff! Silly child, but he is very concerned with helping others now. What more could you want? A clutter free home, and a civically minded family!
