1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine sugar, water, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla in sauce pan. Bring to a full boil. Remove from heat.
Peel, quarter, and core apples. Unroll crescent rolls and separate each triangle. Stretch triangle slightly, and wrap around each apple quarter, sealing the edges. Place in a 13x9 pan and pour hot syrup over dumplings. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
