1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 3 oz. package cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. shifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 7 oz package chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter, cream cheese, sugar, orange rind and vanilla thoroughly. Stir together flour and salt and stir into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, mixing thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful about 1 inch apart onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake about 15 minutes in moderate oven (350). Cookies will be delicately browned around the edges.) Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
