2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 can (16 oz.) fruit cocktail undrained
1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, sift the flour, soda and salt. Add brown sugar, eggs, butter and fruit cocktail. Blend briefly in a mixer at low speed, then blend on medium speed 2 minutes.

Grease and flour the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan. Pour batter into pan. Sprinkle top with chips and nuts. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until done.
