Bake cake according to directions. After baking punch holes in cake about 1 inch apart.

While cake is baking make jello, using 3/4 cup boiling water to dissolve and 1/2 cup of cold water. Leave at room temperate. After cake cools pour jello over it. Refrigerate while making topping.

Put dream whip and lemon instant pudding in a bowl and then follow directions on box for making pudding. Spread over cake and refrigerate. Cake freezes well and is easy to slice. Pan size 13 by 9 by 12.
