1 c butter
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 tsp baking powder
3 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Slowly add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Roll onto floured surface and cut out into desired shapes. Place on cookie sheets and bake at 400º for 6-8 minutes. (I usually bake longer). Then cool and frost with frosting of your choice.
