1 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups water
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
2 or 3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Cover raisins and salt with water. Cook several minutes. Add butter. Mix sugar and flour in small bowl. Separate eggs. Beat yolks and add milk. Mix well. Add the flour mixture. Mix well. Stir into the hot raisins. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Use egg white for meringue.
