Flylady.com Enough said! But for those of you that find that tedious, the easiest, quickest tips I have are to ALWAYS put things back where they belong. Toys in the toy box, trash in the trash can, dirty clothes in the hamper, clean clothes IMMEDIATELY hung up or put in drawers (no more piles on the couch or bed), shoes back in the closet, toothbrush back in the drawer, food put away after prep. You get the idea. Then dust, vacuum, wipe off kitchen counters and mirrors and things are always pretty under control and ready for company. Another thing I did with my kids was to put chores into a hat and we all picked out a chore each day and did it. BUT to make it fun, we'd race to see who could get their chore done the fastest. Something Hallie always did was dress up for the occasion. If she cleaned the bathroom, she donned an apron, gloves, eye wear.... Make it FUN.
