24oz jar dill pickles well drained and patted dry
vegetable oil for frying
1 cup plain flour
1 tsp garlic powder
2 T pickle juice
1 tsp red pepper (optional)
1 cup club soda chilled

Directions:
Directions:
Pour oil into a skillet with approximately 3" of oil. Heat to 350. Combine flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl. Stir in club soda and pickle juice. Batter will be lumpy. Dip pickles in batter letting the excess drip off. Fry the pickles about 2 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on a wire rack over paper towels. Serve hot. Great dipped in Ranch dressing.
