1 c butter 3/4 c corn starch 1/2 c powdered sugar 1 c flour
Icing 3 oz. cream cheese softened 1 c powdered sugar 1 t vanilla or 1/2 t almond flavoring
Cream butter at slow speed until creamy. Slowly add corn starch and sugar. Beat on medium high until fluffy. Stir in flour. Dough should soft. Chill dough for one hour. Roll out into small balls. Place on a cookie sheet and press slight indention with your thumb into the top of each ball. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. While the cookies are cooling, mix up icing ingredients. Add food coloring if desired. Fill the indention with icing.
This is great for showers or tea parties! We love them at Christmas!
