2 cups dry bread cubes
4 cups milk, scalded
1 Tbs butter
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
4 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soak bread in milk 5 minutes; add butter, salt and sugar. Pour slowly over eggs; add vanilla. Mix well. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake in pan of hot water in 350F oven until firm. (About 50 minutes).
