1 1/2--2 lb bag frozen hashbrowns
1 lg onion, chopped and sauteed in butter until clear.
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 pt sour cream
1 tsp salt
2-3 c shredded cheese blend (cheddar jack,etc.)
Can Onion Rings

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well and cover with foil. Bake 1 hour at 350 uncovered and top with 1 large can of onion rings. Return to oven until topping is just brown. Maybe 10 minutes. As a dinner casserole add cooked chicken and broccoli or ham pieces.
