Ingredients:  
1 lbs. lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 small potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 carrots, pared and sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatoes
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 small bay leaf
1/4 tsp. leaf thyme
1/4 tsp. leaf basil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
grated mozzarella or Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients except cheese in crockpot. Stir thoroughly. Add water to cover. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 12 hours. Stir well. Serve with sprinkled cheese.
