1 - 14 oz. pkg. caramels
1 small can Carnation milk
1 1/4 sticks oleo
1 Betty Crocker German Chocolate cake mix
6 oz. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels with 1/3 c. Carnation milk and set aside.

Melt oleo. Add cake mix and 1/3 c. Carnation milk. Spread 1/2 of this mixture in the bottom of a 9" x 13" greased cake pan. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Spread caramel mixture over chocolate chips. Then sprinkle remaining cake mixture on top. Bake for 20 more minutes.
