This recipe for 60 Minute Rolls, by Aaron Smart, is from The Logan 12th Ward Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 c. milk ½ c. water ¼ c. butter 3 ½ c. flour 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp salt 2 pkg. active dry yeast
Combine milk, butter and water at low heat until about 120 degrees. Add remaining ingredients and mix well until dough pulls from side of bowl--may need to add more flour. Let rise until double in bulk (approximately 20-30 minutes). Roll out dough on floured surface and cut or shape as desired. Bake 12 minutes at 425 degrees
