1 - 15 oz can pumpkin
1 - 12 oz can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
c. melted butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom and sides of 9x13 pan. Stir pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar and pumpkin pie spice until smooth. Pour into pan. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Pour melted butter evenly over top. Bake uncovered 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in center of dessert comes out clean. Cool completely, about one hour, 30 minutes. Serve with scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Note - Pumpkin pie spice can be made by mixing 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. ginger and 1 tsp. nutmeg.
