25-30 medium sized cucumbers
8 large white onions
2 large sweet green peppers
1/2 cup pickling salt
5 cups cider vinegar
5 cups sugar
2 Tbsp mustard seed
1 tsp tumeric
1/2 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers and slice thin as possible. Chop onion, peppers and combine with cucumbers and salt. Cover with ice and water for 3 hours and drain. Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in large preserving kettle. Bring to boil, add drained cucumbers heat thoroughly but do NOT boil. Pack while hot into sterilized jars and seal at once
