4-6 medium green tomatoes, sliced in rounds
1 cup Ritz cracker crumbs (1 roll)
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter. Mix Ritz crumbs in butter. In greased, shallow baking dish layer half of tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add half of crumb mixture and half of cheese. Layer the other half of tomatoes with salt, pepper and cheese. Add remaining crumb mixture last. Bake covered at 350, about 30 minutes, then uncover and bake another 15 minutes or until brown.
