4 chicken breasts cut up
1 egg beaten

3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbs. Ketchup
1/4 c. vinegar
1 Tbs. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. fire oil... add more or less to taste

Dip chicken in egg and roll in cornstarch.
Fry in oil until brown. Place in shallow pan and pour sauce over it. Bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hour. Turn every 15 min. Serve over rice. (For a sweet and sour version just leave out the fire oil and add some crushed pineapple to the sauce.)
