3 cups oatmeal
1/2 to 1 cup coconut
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 stick margarine

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, combine oatmeal, coconut and vanilla extract. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine. Bring to a rolling boil and pour over oatmeal mixture. Stir and drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

This is an old, old favorite. Even small kids can make with no problem. (May need help pouring hot mixture.)
