2 1/2 cup unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup butter

1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
3/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the flour, salt, brown sugar and butter to make the crumbs. TAKE OUT 3/4 CUP TO USE AS THE TOPPING.

Mix together the cinnamon, egg, baking soda dissolved in buttermilk with above flour mixture.

Pour into two 8" or 9" pie pans. Put crumbs on top . Bake at 325 until done, approx. 45 minutes.
Freezes well.
