3 tbsp. oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1 3/4 lbs. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 large can solid packed tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp., salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. oregano
12 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
1 1/2 lbs. mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
1 1/2 lb. ricotta cheese
1 cup Parmesan cheese

Saute beef, garlic and onion in oil. Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cook noodles for 15 minutes, drain and rinse with hot water. In large buttered dish, arrange and alternate layers of noodles, ricotta, tomato meat sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, finishing with a layer of meat and Parmesan. Bake 12 minutes in 375 oven. You may reheat this for 40-45 minutes at 350.
