Ingredients:
3 to 4 green onions chopped
large salad bowl full of cleaned and looked leaf lettuce
3 to 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
3 T hot bacon grease
1 C apple cider vinegar
1 C sugar
1/4 C water
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash, look and pat/spin dry your garden leaf lettuce. Put in a large salad bowl. Put green onions on top. Liberally salt and pepper the lettuce in the bowl. Cook and crumble bacon and keep the grease hot. In a saucepan bring vinegar, sugar and water to boil until sugar is dissolved. Pour while hot over the lettuce. Pour bacon grease while hot on next. Toss and serve immediately. This is not good leftover or 20 minutes after made. Chances are in a Linder household you wouldn't have any left over to worry about!

Personal Notes:
This is meant to be served warm and fresh.....don't think this is a salad and refrigerate!!
