2 1/2 to 3 lbs frying chicken
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups buttermilk
1 1/4 tsp salt
Lawry's Season Salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Clean and cut up chicken. Pat dry. Sprinkle with season salt and set aside. Combine flour with salt and pepper. Fill your deep fryer with oil and heat to 350. Place chicken one piece at a time in buttermilk, shake off excess liquid. Coat lightly in flour mixture, shake off excess flour. Repeat coating with buttermilk and flour mixture. Fry in deep fryer for 14 minutes, you may need to leave longer if the pieces are extra big like a breast. Let stand 7 minutes before serving. You can also fry this in a deep skillet if you don't have a deep fryer. Turn over after first 14 minutes and cook another 14 minutes on the other side.
