1 box light brown sugar
1 small can evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
2 Tbsp. water
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. Vanilla flavoring
a few grains of salt
1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together in heavy boiler the sugar, milk, Karo, water
and salt until good soft ball forms when tested in cold water. It is necessary to stir this mixture while cooking to keep it from sticking. Remove from heat , add butter and vanilla and cool. Beat until creamy and fairly stiff. Add pecans and mix with a teaspoon until nuts are all coated before dropping by spoonful onto waxed paper.
