3 c. or 2 cans chicken broth
1 Lg. bunch broccoli (about 5 cups, chopped fine)
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
6 Tbsp. butter
7 Tbsp. flour
3 c. milk (I use half cream & half milk)
salt & pepper
2 tsp. scampi blend (Wildtree spice) or substitute garlic salt or powder.

Directions:
In a saucepan bring chicken broth to a boil. Add broccoli, onion. Reduce heat and simmer until broccoli is tender. Meanwhile in another saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour to make a smooth paste. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat until mixture is hot and thickened. Add broccoli stock to milk mixture. Heat & stir until well blended.
