2 to 3 pounds ground chuck or 1/2 grnd beef & 1/2 grnd deer
2 T quick salt (a curing salt)
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
1 T mustard seed
1 C water

Directions:

Mix well and roll out sticks the size of silver dollars and about 6 inches long. Wrap in aluminum foil and refrigerate 24 hours. Unwrap and bake on cookie sheet or broiling pan for 1 hour at 300.
